GKS - Children's Club

GKS stands for God’s Kingdom Seekers and is our work on a Sunday morning with children in school years 1 – 8.

Our aim is to teach children the bible and encourage a relationship with God in a safe environment using games, singing & dance, craft activities and short DVD clips.  In all that we do we seek to explore the Bible with the children in ways that are age appropriate - and fun!

We also run a crèche for baby's and toddlers. Parents and guardians can leave their children with our workers or they can accompany them.

Sometimes GKS will take part in a Sunday morning service to show the rest of the church what they have been doing on a particular theme or prepare a visual display of their activities.

All of the children in GKS sit in church for the first part of the service, after which they leave to go to their own activities.  They will then stay with the GKS leadership team until after the church service finishes.

All of the GKS leaders are DBS checked. Between them they have many years experience in working with children and young people. If you want to know more about GKS, please get in touch.
