A very warm welcome awaits everyone as we try to make worship on a Sunday morning as vibrant and meaningful as we can in order to give the glory to God and His Son Jesus Christ.
Our service on a Sunday morning starts at 9.45am and when it concludes, all who want to can stay on for a cup of tea or coffee and a chat.
We use a mixture of traditional and contemporary styles of preaching and teaching, and music through a variety of sources such as digital projection, puppets, DVD & video clips, songs played by our worship group and hymns on the organ. We aim to make the services relevant to people of all ages as we firmly believe that the good news about Jesus Christ is for everyone.
We meet on Sundays to learn together from the Bible what God has planned for us and our children, and to be nurtured and brought to a point where we and they too can know God and His Son Jesus Christ for themselves
Children and young people stay with their families for the first part of the service after which they go to their own activities depending on their age. Check out the other links on the ministries page.
Once a month, we hold a service called 'Everyone Worships Together' or 'EWT'. This is when the whole church family stays together to share in worship and when we try to ensure there is something for everyone in the service. We also have a communion service once a month at which all who love the Lord Jesus Christ are invited to share in a special time around the Lord’s Table when we break bread to remember the sacrifice that Jesus made for all of us.
‘Shout for joy to the Lord, all the earth. Worship the Lord with gladness; come before him with joyful songs. Know that the Lord is God. It is He who made us, and we are His; we are His people, the sheep of His pasture. Enter His gates with thanksgiving and His courts with praise; give thanks to Him and praise His name. For the Lord is good and His love endures forever; His faithfulness continues through all generations.’ Psalm 100 verses 1 – 5
